About Me

Physical Therapist

Nick Fritschel is a sports physical therapist passionate about helping athletes and active individuals of all ages and across all sports return stronger, more resilient, and better prepared than before injury. He earned his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He also independently pursued and earned his Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) credential and holds certifications in Dry Needling, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Emergency Response for the Athlete.

Nick’s professional experience includes one season with the Utah Grizzlies, two seasons with the Allen Americans, and assisting the Utah Mammoth medical and rehabilitation staff during NHL training camp. He specializes in post-operative rehabilitation, return-to-sport programming, and managing acute and chronic injuries throughout a competitive season, with particular experience in labral injuries, ACL injuries, tendon injuries, and the unique demands of contact athletes.

Nick values being involved in every stage of an athlete’s journey, from sideline coverage and immediate injury management to rehabilitation and a confident return to competition. His background in competitive weightlifting, CrossFit, and working with professional CrossFit athletes shapes a performance-driven approach that bridges the gap between rehabilitation and high-level performance.

Outside the clinic, Nick enjoys working out, golfing, fishing, skiing, and snowboarding. His appreciation for an active lifestyle reinforces a simple goal: help every patient move better, get stronger, and confidently return to what they love.
