About Me
Clinic Director - Plano | Physical Therapist | Tactical Athlete Specialist
Paul serves as the Clinic Director at ReLab in Plano, TX, where his passion lies in optimizing performance and building resilience in military, police, and fire communities. With over a decade in the field of physical therapy, Paul has worked across every level of the profession: from aide to front desk to doctoral-level clinician. This gives him a unique, comprehensive perspective on patient care and clinic operations.
Certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR) and Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN), Paul integrates cutting-edge interventions with practical, performance-driven programming. His clinical focus is on the tactical athlete: ensuring those who serve can extend their careers, reduce injury risk, and improve quality of life both on the job and long after service.
Paul’s path into physical therapy began with his own sports injury, a fracture dislocation of the elbow in high school football, which sparked a lifelong pursuit of excellence in human performance. He carried that passion into his college years as an offensive lineman at Texas State University, where he balanced Division I athletics with early experience as a PT aide.
Professionally, Paul launched his sports therapy career at Sports Therapy and Research at The Star in Frisco in 2018, working sidelines and collaborating with some of the region’s top athletic trainers and clinicians. But it was his deep family ties to public service—his father a volunteer firefighter/EMT, his brother in Air Force security forces, his brother-in-law a sheriff, and others with military service—that shifted his focus toward tactical rehabilitation.
As founder of the Tactical Athlete Special Interest Group at Baylor Scott & White, Paul expanded outreach and collaboration from Texas to the East Coast, fueling his mission to transform how physical therapy serves first responders and service members. His programs now include physical ability test prep, return-to-duty rehab, and performance-based care designed to help tactical athletes “get through the suck” and come out stronger.
Guided by a mindset inspired by leaders in the tactical world, Paul brings urgency, grit, and ownership to every patient and project: take the risk, run through the wall, and leave nothing for tomorrow.
Outside the clinic, Paul values time with his wife, Heather, and their three children, and continues to push himself in training, living the same resilient lifestyle he promotes for the athletes and tactical professionals he serves.
