About Me
Clinic Director | Physical Therapist | Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS)
With over seven years of experience in physical therapy, Ronnie serves as the Clinical Director at ReLab, where he brings a deep expertise in sports rehabilitation and advanced clinical interventions. As a dedicated physical therapist and Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), Ronnie has honed his skills in helping athletes return to peak performance after injury.
Having completed a rigorous sports physical therapy residency at Baylor Scott & White at the Star, Ronnie specializes in treating athletes at all stages of rehabilitation. With extensive experience in ACL rehabilitation and return-to-sport programs, he not only helps athletes recover but also educates other physical therapists in the most advanced, research-backed techniques. This ensures that his patients benefit from the latest and most effective rehab strategies, giving them the best chance at a safe and successful return to their sport.
In addition to his sports rehab expertise, Ronnie is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) techniques, offering comprehensive treatment options to relieve pain and promote healing.
Ronnie’s college baseball career was cut short by a SLAP tear that was never fully rehabilitated, preventing him from returning to his prior level of performance. This experience ignited his passion for transforming the standard of care in physical therapy, with a focus on helping athletes recover more completely and reach their full potential.
Outside of his work at ReLab, he loves spending quality time with his wife, Susie, daughter, Emersyn, and their two dogs, Tuck and Nina. Ronnie also believes in practicing what he preaches and can often be found training for various competitions or just to stay in competitive shape to accept any and all challenges his athletes throw his way.
